With an unrivaled work ethic, Colin Lama is a talented and powerful outside linebacker coming out of Xaverian Brothers High School (Westwood, MA). He takes his off season preparation seriously, participating in three weightlifting sessions and three speed training sessions per week at Xaverian High School, as well as two separate weightlifting sessions every week. Lama also enjoys staying engaged in team sports, earning a space on the varsity rugby team for each year he has tried out.
With visits to both Assumption College and Bentley University planned for February 2016, Lama has also committed to attending football camps at the University of New Hampshire, College of the Holy Cross, and Boston College. With high hopes for an excellent education, he hopes to hear from Lafayette College, Bryant University, and Bucknell University, as well. Having stated that he will outwork anyone, both on the field and in the classroom, Lama holds an impressive 3.2 weighted GPA, and has plans to take the SAT in March 2016.
At 6’0” tall and 210 pounds, Lama runs a 4.7 40 yard dash. He possesses the strength, power, and agility necessary to become a competitive and successful outside linebacker. With a track record which showcases his capacity for hard work and dedication, Colin Lama will be a leader and an asset to any collegiate program he becomes a part of.
